Solitary Blue Silhouette is an illustration series exploring the tension between the desire for connection and the instinct for self-protection. Created using the cyanotype process, the work retains the green tones of the photosensitive solution. Through symbolic scenes, the series gives form to the loneliness, longing, and vulnerability of people who struggle to rely on others emotionally. Solitude becomes both a refuge and a barrier to intimacy. The work traces a gradual movement toward trust, as the boundaries of self-protection begin to soften and make room for care, connection, and the possibility of healing.
